Julie is THE BEST hair colorist EVER! I am serious people. She has this reputation and everyone knows it. I was referred to her over 20 years ago, back when her shop was in Los Gatos! I was so lucky when she opened her salon in Scotts Valley and now in her beautiful salon in Capitola village is amazing. Being an Aveda loyalist for 20+ years - Julie was the only one for years that had an Aveda salon in SC County. My hair is thin, baby fine, curly - a hairdressers nightmare! I visited for the first time yesterday and I can't say enough about my great experience. I came in with long, frizzy blonde hair and left with a smooth, natural looking head of hair with subtle blonde highlights. Money well spent and I can't imagine going anywhere else. Don't let the location put you off as they have private parking free of charge. Plenty of great people watching and scenery in Capitola Village.
